This application was developed by pediatricians, with the aim of making it quick and easy to classify APGAR in deliveries performed by other health professionals.
The Apgar Scale was created by Dr. Virginia Apgar and is widely used to assess newborn conditions and guidance in the conducts to be taken when necessary.
Based on 5 objective signs, a note is given on the 1st, 5th, and 10th minutes of life.
The scores obtained in the 1st and 5th minutes should be noted and may be very useful later, since they define the conditions of birth of each child.
All criteria are listed on the same screen. Just select them and the Apgar Score is calculated. If there is a change in the 5th minute, just make the modification and the calculation is done again.
